Giving back to the community is an essential piece of the Riptide culture. Every year the Waverly Riptide Baseball club strategically picks a special organization to recognize with a donation based on the proceeds made from the Annual Riptide Rumble tournament.

This year’s selection was chosen to be District 145 Farm to Fork, a local program dedicated to connecting the District 145 community and families through agriculture. Farm to Fork works to bring locally raised Nebraska beef and pork into our schools, giving students access to quality local products while helping them learn where their food comes from and the important role agriculture plays in our community and state. The program also provides additional agricultural education while supporting and sustaining local beef and pork producers.

Their commitment to our students, local agriculture, and the families of District 145 is why District 145 Farm to Fork was chosen to be our special Riptide Response for the 2026 season!
