    Sponsorships are a way to provide a few things during your Riptide experience. It can bring down the total amount due for you and your child's team, or advertise for a company that wants to support a non-profit with a tax write off.

  • Hand-Me-Down Process

    Hand-me-downs are an essential piece of the Riptide Program, allowing your new ball players to have a foundation of equipment to utilize to find their footing in the sport itself. Typically all ages have a little to share year over year, ask a coach for more detail.

  • Do we get a discount on Baseball stuff somewhere?

    Yes! Currently we exclusively use Prime-Time Sports in Lincoln Nebraska for all of our apparel both on the field and off. Because of this relationship, you as a Riptide member can receive a percentage off apparel when you order products from the online store, or when you go into the store itself for additional equipment. Ask a store employee for details.

  • How do I pay my fees for Riptide?

    Starting in 2023, all Riptide player related fees will be invoiced and sent to the parent email on file recorded during try-out registration. The invoice will include all player dues for the year and can be paid by Credit Card, ACH transfer or check. No cash payments are currently accepted.

  • When are Riptide Tryouts?

    Tryouts for the Waverly Riptide typically are at the end of the season, July or August to be exact. Typically try-out dates and times will be posted here on the events page as well as on all of the Waverly Riptide social media accounts.

  • What is the Riptide Tryout process?

    The Waverly Riptide Try-out process consists of standardized fielding, pitching and hitting drills per age group. Third party evaluations are made during the try-outs and determine the scoring or the child. Typical points are awarded for overall athletic ability and skillset, but can also include, attitude, hustle, body language, and coachability.

  • What is included in the Riptide Uniform?

    All uniforms and game day apparel are currently provided by Prime Time Sports in Lincoln Nebraska. Each child will receive 3 uniforms for the season, 1 for Home, 1 for Away, and 1 for Practice. This will include shirts, pants, and a hat for the season. Belts, socks, and cold weather apparel are players responsibility.

  • Where/When can I buy new Riptide apparel?

    Twice a year the riptide store (provided by Primetime Sports in Lincoln) will open and anyone will be able to buy the limited products during the online store timeframe. Remember the store has a selected set of dates to order products so follow the Riptide Facebook page for updates.
