Annual Riptide Longball Golf Tourney

 Format: Four Person Scramble Golf Tournament  

When: Sunday October 5th —>11am shotgun start  

Where: Ashland Golf Club  

Cost: $400 per team ($100 per player)  

Includes: golf, cart, pin prizes on every hole, two flight payout & post golf meal

 

Because of the generosity of past year sponsors and golfers, The LONGBALL has helped Waverly  Riptide maintain the proud tradition of fielding competitive teams and making a positive impact on the  lives of young men in the community and their families. We are excited to make this year's event our  best event yet with some changes aimed at enhancing the experience for all levels of golfers.  

Event Details: 

  • Event will be limited to the first 36 teams to register. Last year's event filled in less than 48 hours so don’t delay! 

  • Awards and prizes will be given following the conclusion of golf at AGC. 

  • $10,000 Hole In One Contest brought to you by TBD sponsor.

Sponsorship Opportunities

The generous event sponsorships of local businesses and individuals has helped us put on a great event and we are expanding opportunities for those willing to continue with that support. Riptide is a 501-C3 non-profit so your sponsorship is tax deductible.

 

  • Technology Sponsor– This is a new opportunity via GolfStatus tournament website ser− vice we are using to facilitate the tournament. This sponsor will be listed prominently on the event website, mobile app, and live leaderboard. This sponsor will also be recognized on at the post golf event and receive one golf team entry into the event. $1000

  • Hole In One Contest Sponsor– This level of sponsor will be promoted on the $10,000 Hole in One Hole. Ex.) “$10,000 Hole In One Challenge brought to you by ABC Co.” This includes prominent signage and promotion on event materials. This sponsor will also re− ceive a $100 discount on team entry and be recognized at the post golf event. $500

  • Homerun Sponsor– This level of sponsor receives recognition on marketing materials, tourney banner, $100 discount on golf team entry, and can provide us marketing materi− als (coupons, flyers, koozies, etc) to be placed in the 144 golfer welcome bags. $500

  • Meal Sponsor- All golfers receive a lunch provided at the course. The meal sponsor will be recognized with a banner in the snack bar, a logo sticker placed on each boxed lunch, and the sponsor can place marketing materials in the 144 golfer welcome bags. $500

  • Hole Sponsors- Hole sponsors will get recognition on their assigned hole with a sign placed at the tee box and recognition at the post golf event. $150

  • Flag Prize & Rafle Hole Donation– We would gladly accept any prize donation for pin prizes and rafle holes. Flag Prizes are typically valued at $25. Rafle hole prizes typically range from $25-$200+ in value and are awarded to golfers via a drawing for successful participation in a par 3 challenge.
